Off topic, but I LOVED the threads here at the DL about the Tiger Woods "scandal". It had it all- sex, money, a racial aspect, seeing, in real time, the breathtaking, rapid descent from the stratosphere of Earth's most elite athlete in a non-team, individual sport; a descent that I didn't think should have had to happen.

What Woods did with his body with consenting women was his beeswax, and he didn't owe an accounting of it to anybody except Elin Nordegrin, who, imho, earned every penny of her divorce settlement.

Most of all, I loved how that scandal stripped away the falsity of the image of pro golf as the "gentlemen's game". None of TPTB in pro golf were surprised or shocked by Tiger's harem.

In fact, they were relieved that it diverted everybody from a real, actual scandal in pro golf: that performance enhancing drugs and steroids were as prevalent in pro golf (Tiger, Mickelson, etc.) as they were in pro baseball.
