Some Disturbance At Reddit

If you're wondering why there seems to be an influx of, lets call them, not-normal-type-DL posts, threads, etc, it could be because Reddit is on some kind of boycott-shutdown situation. Seems thousands of subReddit moderators have locked their subs or whatever.

I don't think so, DL is so niche and obscure, Redditors tend to prefer something with more traffic.

Also, the boycott is unravelling as I type, with admins forcing the shuttered subs to reopen.

This was actually at its peak several days ago but yes, some subreddits were suspended by their moderators for a few days and a few still are.

Ok, good. I just got into a crazy argument about trans on DL Dark thread. I stated I had friends transition and it turned crazy. I pray no one thought I was the troll. I’ve been a DL’er for quite awhile and never have seen such craziness. I’ve also never been referred to as a Troll.

If a Redditor is impacted by the shutdown of a subreddit that is protesting the Reddit admins, then he or she will just go to another subreddit. It's not like Datalounge is some rival or competitor for eyeballs from Reddit.

Reddit is the 4th or 5th most visited site on the ENTIRE INTERNET. Nobody there gives a fuck about this site with its 400 regular (at the most) posters.

Sadly they shut down the Dads Gone Wild subreddit which was one of my favorite places on Reddit. Hot DILFs.

I have only used DL, never Reddit. What’s Lipstick Alley as the crazy troll was discussing.

I hear about lipstick alley a lot, never visited but I've gotten the sense that's it's a forum for Black women.
