Joann Ward Missing – An appeal for assistance has been issued by the police in order to locate a missing 51-year-old individual who, according to the police, resides between North Wales and the Wirral but may be in Cumbria. ‌​​‌‍‌​‌​‌‌‌​‍‌​​​‌​‌‌‍‌​​​‌‌​‌‍‌​​‌‌‌‌​‍‌​​‌‌‌​​‍‌​​‌​‌​​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​​‌‌​‌​‍‌​​‌‌‌​​‍‌‌​​‌‌​‌‍‌‌​​‌‌​​An update on social media from North Wales Police states: “We are looking for a Joanne Elizabeth Ward aged 51 who has been reported missing. Since the 11th of October, she has not been seen or heard from in Bromborough, where she often dwells. Her typical residence is somewhere between Bromborough and North Wales. ‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍​‌​‌‌‍‌​​​‌‌​‌‍‌​​‌‌‌‌​‍‌​​‌‌‌​​‍‌​​‌​‌​​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​​‌‌​‌​‍‌​​‌‌‌​​‍‌‌​​‌‌​‌‍‌‌​​‌‌​​

We suspect she may be in the Cumbria area and that she may also be driving a Grey Volkswagen Jetta LR07 FYS. An appeal has been made by the police for assistance in identifying a woman who is missing and who typically “resides between the Bromborough and North Wales.” On February 8, 2022, Jo Ann Ward, who had made her home in Riverside, Rhode Island, passed away without any illness. At the time of her passing, she had reached the age of ears. It was in Warren, the city in which she was born, that she resided for her whole life until she just relocated to Riverside.

For her entire life, she has called that place home. Her parents, Alfred and Helen (Yergeau) Medeiros, both perished away, and she was married to Jerry W. Ward, who also took his own life. Her parents and husband both passed away. Her mother and father had both passed away. During the period that Jo Ann and her late husband were raising their family, she was employed as a certified nurse assistant (CNA) for a considerable amount of time. It was the time she got to spend with her family, especially her cherished grandkids, that she cherished the most. She had a wonderful amount of pride in her sons.

It is safe to say that her sons were the most important source of pride for her. The act of crocheting was something that she was really enthusiastic about, and whenever she had the opportunity to do so, she would travel to Jai-Alai to engage in the activity. In the event that she was unable to physically attend the event, she would frequently indulge in gaming activities on her tablet. This was a common practice for her behavior. In addition to her two grandchildren, Khloe Lee Ward and Talon Walker Ward, Jo Ann is survived by her sons Jerry Ward and his wife Erin of Fairfax.

Virginia, and Justin Ward and his wife Nicole of Riverside, Rhode Island; her brother Richard Medeiros and his wife Belle of Warren, Rhode Island; her sister Laurie Medeiros of Lancaster, Massachusetts; and her brother Richard Medeiros. Both Kenneth Medeiros and Alfred Medeiros Jr., who were her siblings, have passed away since she was born. She was their sister.
