I remember in the 70s having Clinique for men in your bathroom was a marker that you were of high status and it was displayed prominently. The stuff was marginal at best . The soap dried my skin, the astringents too strong and the "M" lotion was greasy and had the color and consistency of semen ( which I am sure is not a coincidence). Estee Lauder was smart in chosing packaging and marketing that line . .
