I didn't see the original exchange that got him in hot water but I saw a short piece about it all on one of the Entertainment News shows. From what I gathered, all this guy did was be somewhat reluctant to feed a Bachelor contestant to the wolves who had did/said some racist things. The piece I saw never stated that Chris H. said or did anything inappropriate himself. But I may be totally off the mark.

Will someone please break this shit down for me? What exactly did he do to lose his gig?

I don't watch these shows and did not see the interview he did that got him into so much trouble; however, I was channel-surfing the morning he appeared on GMA and landed on it just as he was giving his apology. His delivery could not have been more insincere, like he had memorized a script written for him by someone in ABC's P.R. department ("Here, say this word for word and don't fuck it up"). Perhaps other people felt the same and that's why he's getting the boot.

Again, I don't watch the show, so did not care if he had stayed on it or not, just saying even I thought his apology sounded fake as fuck.

This motherfucker has made millions for handing out roses to idiots on a stupid show and would have went on to make millions more. All he had to do was STFU and he couldn't do it!

It seems it’s only a small minority of people on Twitter asking for him to be fired. I think the majority of the Bachelor fans are not even on Twitter. The 95% don’t even know Chris has been fired and will be shocked next season. It’s sad that the vocal 5% can dictate the direction of the show.
