Located in The Principal boutique hotel on the Gran Vía, this is another of the attractive proposals by Ramón Freixa, reputed chef with two Michelin stars for the restaurant that bears his name, which is also in Madrid. In line with the excellence to which he has us accustomed, the chef from Catalonia opts for more sophisticated yet accessible cuisine here, always seeking to provoke feelings in the diner.

The menu at Ático reflects Freixa’s Mediterranean origins, offering dishes to share (‘finger food’) or to savour individually. Starters include ham croquettes, ham and tomato toasted bread or the Baby Sandwich Club, whilst the main courses include tomato tartar with  cream of burrata, perol sausages with baby squid and four chick peas or the monkfish steaks, all perfectly washed down with a fine selection  of wines. Desserts also have a special place with delicacies, such as passion mango pie.

The Ático restaurant has capacity for 70 people, who can enjoy different spaces: the Salon Ático, elegant and sophisticated with large windows, and La Pérgola, large, enclosed and conditioned terrace where you can have lunch and dinner all year round whilst enjoying incredible views of the Metrópolis Building, the Fine Arts Circle, the Bank of Spain or the Gran Vía.
